hello

I am currently looking into the applications of MEMS technology to the aerospace industry. In particular, manufacturing micro features into turbine blades. Aside from UV LIGA techniques, are there any other processes which may be cheaper or quicker than LIGA? In business today, how accurate can 500 micro-meter fins and pins be manufactured (ie. tolerances)? How costly is it to make a mold for such features? What material should the substrate be in order to produce a mold if the final product is to be made of nickel. Will hot ebossing be an effective technique to mass produce a nickel part with micro features?

My search on the web has lead me to this forum. Any information will be helpful wiether it is a direct response or a link to a company website with this info.
