[mems-talk] Conversion of Cadence Allegro BRD or mcm file to GDS2

I am looking for a conversion program to convert from ...

Cadence APD Advanced Package Designer to GDS2
or
Gerber 274x to GDS2
or as a last resort 
DXF to GDS2 

APD is capable of GDS2 output but the conversion is not very good.
APD can only use rounded ends for traces and this does not convert well to
GDS2.
It require extensive clean up after the GDS is read in to Virtuoso IC layout
pkg.

Any help would be appreciated.
