I have used cyanoacrylate (super glue) to hold on shadow masks.
Apply a fraction of a drop with a toothpick so you don't get too much.

To remove, heat above about 300 C and it decomposes, leaving a dust. Just 
wipe it off.
Acetone or MEK at room temperature might also work for removal.
