Hello everyone.
I was try to cure an epoxy insultaed electronic circuit into a PDMS
made device. The PDMS prepolymer attaching to the epoxy will never be
cured. the process flow is:
1. coat the circuit with epoxy prepolyer, and let it dry
2. insert the circuit to the slot made by cured PDMS
3. enclose the open area with PDMS preploymer (10:1 with curing agent)
4. put it on a hotplate (70 C)
For hours, the PDMS prepolymer kissing the epoxy is still in viscous
liquid state.
The epoxy coating is a necessary step to prevent Lead diffusion into
PDMS or short connect of the circuit
I am looking for any suggestions.
Hong
