I was wondering if it would be useful to implement a Berkeley DB storage class for Durus. I'm guessing Berkeley DB would be able to efficiently handle a larger number of objects than the FileStorage class. Also, it probably wouldn't be necessary to pack the database file regularly to prevent the file size from increasing without bound. Besides, Berkeley DB has been in production use for years. Any thoughts on this possibility? A Berkeley DB storage class wouldn't necessarily replace FileStorage, but it might be a good alternative. -- Matt Campbell Lead Programmer Serotek Corporation www.freedombox.info
