-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 David, I'm writing a draft documentation for durus "hidden corners" and have a question. When a client does a commit, if it tries to commit an already modified object, a conflict exception is raised. But what if the modified client is clean but its state is derived of a modified object?. That is: 1. Client A fetch object X. 2. Client B modifies and commits a new version of X. 3. Client A, using data in cached object X, modifies an object Y. 4. Client A commits an stale Y. Does Durus detect such a stale commit?. - -- Jesus Cea Avion _/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/_/ jcea@argo.es http://www.argo.es/~jcea/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ jabber / xmpp:jcea@jabber.org _/_/ _/_/ _/_/_/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "Things are not so easy" _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "My name is Dump, Core Dump" _/_/_/ _/_/_/ _/_/ _/_/ "El amor es poner tu felicidad en la felicidad de otro" - Leibniz -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iQCVAwUBREk1pJlgi5GaxT1NAQJwxgP/SqcAzpdHjyoYIxU9oOspnWb1PqoEEhHq LvJhduLmx6N84NCHsHYqPLXc10jn9bDPRtlHZ2AronFuhR7SkbbOYQ4rBXbaQtSr jvoyHbouFNQcYunycxjxMomuhgI7a4XZW1/1cD7BrR/DkQ08GKGbk2NOmYjiygcl 9N/VVX0XSrw= =rnOz -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
