Dear Colleagues, I worked on the microfluidic devices. When I use plasma treat the PDMS and SU-8 (on a glass slide) sample, and try to attach them. The attachment seems very strong at the beginning. I can even break the PDMS without getting PDMS detached from the SU-8 layer. But when I inject the water or put the device into the water for about 24 hours, which is typically my experiment period, the PDMS and SU-8 are detached from each other. Does that mean the water is able to attack the bonding between PDMS and SU-8? Do you have any suggestion on how to improve the bonding? Thanks a lot! Sincerely, Jason
