Hello all,
I making a theoretical study of Piezoelectric actuators. Can
anybody tell me what is the maximum deflection that is achievable in a
piezoelectric membrane compared to its dimensions. What materials we
can use for it???
Is electrostatic membranes deflect more compared to a piezoelectric
membrane actuator.
( The voltage supplied to the electrodes in both actuators are assumed
comparable)

If I want my Piezoelectric membrane to deflect both in upper and
lower directions.will it work if I apply a sinusoidal voltage to the
electrodes?????. Or is there is any special fabrication procedures for
that.
Any papers which covers any of these questions will be greatly helpful.
                                             Thank You
