Hi Adnan There used to be mask repair laser in the 80's that had real small beam diameters but I don't remember the supplier name. There are microscope based laser cutters such as Alessi. You can try them Shay -----Original Message----- From: mems-talk-bounces@memsnet.org [mailto:mems-talk-bounces@memsnet.org] On Behalf Of adnan merhaba Sent: Wednesday, August 09, 2006 8:48 PM To: mems-talk@memsnet.org Subject: [mems-talk] Laser scalpel Hello, Does anybody know of a device like a laser scalpel with beam small enough (<12 microns diameter) that can remove shorts (~ upto 300 microinches of gold) between conductor traces on ceramics. LPKF laser and electronics has a laser scalpel but the beam diameter is approx. 25 microns which is too large for my application. I am looking for something that will clean up shorts in gaps that are as small as 12 microns?
