I am currently working on designing a specific micro-machine which is immersed in viscous fluid.This is being modeled assuming Stokes flow. The micro-machine consists of a head and a moving "rigid" tail. The tail either can oscillate in the vertical plane or it may rotate conically. Using the previous work done on micro-organisms, I found out that rigid tail does not produce any effective movement. I am looking for someone who may have modeled similar micro-machine.
