According to the manufacturer, all organice that make the silver paster "fluid" will evaporate/burn of at the temperature stated (something about 650 C) and leave 100% pure silver, but as said, solid silver, no paste. Though if you anyway heat up your sample to that temperature there sholdn't be any contaminants if you bake it thoroughly. Our problem was mainly that our substrate couldn't withstand the temperature it required to bake. good luck maria ________________________________________ From: petrulp@gmail.com [petrulp@gmail.com] Sent: 11 April 2011 17:54 To: General MEMS discussion Subject: Re: [mems-talk] Conductive paste for UH vacuum Thanks, My concern is only if it will contaminate the vacuum. I want to bake it first and then put it in a chamber at quite high vacuum and around 7 800 degree. Do you know if it contains something which will contaminate? Petru Linkoping Sweden
