Hi all,


we have a Bal-Tec SCD 050 sputter which we use to coat a bit of gold
on samples for SEM analysis. The o-ring that is inserted in the groove
in the lid, keeps falling out and makes the use of the device
unpleasant/impractical.

I though a bit of vacuum pump oil might help to keep the o-ring in
place (by sheer surface tension).



Good idea or bad idea?
