Dear all,

This year I started my Phd-project at the Eindhoven University of
Technology (Netherlands).
I will focuss on micro-injection moulding of thermoplastic polymers.
Since I only begun last january I'm still trying to find an interesting
subject within micro-injection moulding.
I already read about differences between micro-injection moulding and
conventional injection moulding with respect to machine design, mould
layout and way of mould-heating (variotherm).

My question: does anybody know about fundamental differences in the process
between micro and conventional injection moulding?

(or is it just a matter of size?)
