In order to test a new kind of actuator, I'm having trouble finding a force sensor that has a resolution of at least 0.1mN and a range of about 40mN (but it may be smaller). (For those more used to gf units, it means at least 0.01 gf resolution and a 4gf range - if I'm not wrong :-) Moreover as I want to study the dynamic of the actuator (the evolution of the force versus time) the sensor should have a bandpass in the order of 1kHz (this I'm not to sure... maybe a bandwidth of 100Hz would do :-). Note that, because I'm interested in the dynamic study of the actuator, I can not simply use the deflection of a known beam/spring, that easily gives the final force, but don't give as easily the dependence of force with time (OK, I may record the evolution of the deflection on a camera, but I expect something simpler - plug and play, or more exactly, "pay, plug and play" :-) Thank you in advance for any lead or advice!
