Hello Michael, We have done this with a printing service that is local to us here at Dartmouth. The cost is about $20, and the resolution is about 20 microns. Perhaps you have a similar printing service near you? For the procedure, please see the Dartmouth Thayer School of Engineering web site: http://engineering.dartmouth.edu/~microeng/ledit/leditlrmask.html Best of luck, Craig McGray Dartmouth College mems-talk-request@memsnet.org wrote: > From: Michael Wulf > Date: Wednesday, August 21, 2002 19:44:03 > Subject: [mems-talk] Laser printer masks > > Hi, > > i need some cheap masks; the easiest solution we found is using a > laser-printer on overhead foiles. the structure size i can reach with this > is so far limited to be 200microns. > > does anybody have experinece how to make structures smaller (without > spending money on a mask) and what brands (models) of transparencies and > printers might be good ?
