My name is Cesare. I'm a student from Brasil coursing a master program.
The subject of my studies is a slight knowledge about MEMS/MST 's
manufacturing.
In my researches I need to (superficially) project some kind of
infrastructure to manufacture MEMS/MST. I have some doubts

I was wondering if you could answer to me
..please
..1) In terms of
investments in infrastructure (equipment, labs, clean rooms, staff
);
What are the main differences between the two kind of infrastructure
(prototyping / manufacturing)?......2) In terms of revenue; What are the
main differences between the two kind of infrastructure (prototyping /
manufacturing)?....3) Assuming that I ‘m not interested in build a
infrastructure to manufacture MEMS (or do not have conditions). Are
prototyping (only) services attractive to fabs or minifabs? ...In others
words... Do foundries have interesting in prototyping services or every
foundry usually do your own prototypes?....4)..the last one
. What kind
of service is interesting to a foundry?...in others words
if I want a
fab in my city... what kind of services (I was thinking in prototyping/
or metrology/ or assembly and packaging) would be an attractive reason
for this fab come to my city ?......thank you very much
