Hello, I'm making publicly available a web interface to an application that I wrote for modeling MUMPs devices. The software takes, as input, a Caltech Interchange Format (CIF) file containing the layout for a device. It then processes the data and returns a full 3D model of the device. The application can generate both Ansys Neutral Format (ANF) and Virtual Reality Markup Language (VRML) files. The ANF files can be read directly into ANSYS and used as the geometric part of a finite element analysis. The VRML files can be posted on the web. I invite you all to take the application for a test run. Currently, the only fabrication process supported is MUMPs. However, the application is built on a generic engine, and other surface micromachining process could very easily be developed if there is demand. ---------------------------------------- Robert Johnstone Simon Fraser University http://www.sfu.ca/~rjohnsto/
