I suppose this should use the C version of htmltext. There may have been an older version installed from before... will cleanup and reinstall to make sure that isn't a problem. One possible issue is that I ran setup.py with insufficient priviledges first and then reran with "sudo". Could that have messed up anything? I simply run the demo as cgi script: http://littlebud/cgi-bin/demo.cgi/form_demo The forms_demo page is attached. Everythin up to and including the element is ok, then things get quoted...
