An email message to this group had date_widget.ptl attached and
mentioned possibly adding it to the demo.  It isn't in the demo.  Is
it still usable, more or less in the 1.11 iteration, or is there a
later version?  It imports typecheck from mems.lib.typeutils.  Is that
available separately or...
