RV-360TM

The PERMANENT SOLUTION to annoying holding tank odours!
INTRODUCED TO OVER A MILLION RV'ers IN QUARTZSITE, ARIZONA

Most customers after purchasing one unit for their Black water holding
tank vent,
purchase another for their Grey water holding tank vent.

Help reduce or eliminate the use of environmentally harmful chemicals in
the RV industry.

HOW IT WORKS

As the wind passes over your rooftop it will direct the RV-360 so that
the exhaust port is pointing down wind (or away from where the wind is
coming from). The RV-360 is designed to create low air pressure at the
exhaust port; this pressure difference actually pulls the odours out of
the tank, up the vent pipe and out of the exhaust port.
Even if your toilet is sealed or if you have water in the base, there is
still an overflow tube that vents directly to the holding tank less than
2 feet away. Even the slightest breeze outside could create a
high-pressure difference at the vent cap pushing holding tank odours
into your bathroom. The conventional vent cap is designed to keep water
out, not to extract holding tank odours from your living space.

Inadequate Holding Tank Venting Causes Three Major Problems:

1) Foul Odours in the RV!
Annoying holding tank odours and fumes usually enter the RV living space
during travel or when exposed to wind while parked and long-term
storage. Excessive fume build-up in a holding tank can easily migrate
into the living space with just the slightest air pressure difference
between the rooftop and RV interior.

2) Health Risks
Every time an RV'er smells either tank deodorizer or foul tank contents
he is inhaling methane, ammonia, formaldehydes and other toxins from
decomposing waste and chemical additives. The confined space of an RV
has insufficient air volume to safely dilute these gasses.

3) Ecological Issues
Government agencies have discovered extremely high levels of
formaldehyde and other toxins at many septic facilities, causing serious
concern over these chemicals leaching into the ground as well as
inhibiting the breakdown of the waste. The source of the problem is the
overuse of deodorizers that are administered into RV holding tanks in an
attempt to mask the sewage odours. During the last ten years numerous
septic facilities have been shut down, many others are failing due to
excessive chemical content.

Present Systems do not vent sufficiently!
Due to the design of an RV sewer system, holding tank odours continually
accumulate with no chance of exiting except for partial airflow during
tank draining. This stagnant gas mixture has no place to go and will
definitely not climb up the vent stack on its own, but will easily
migrate into the RV living space if the pressure inside the holding tank
is higher than the RV interior. The vent pipe is the only breathing
facility for the holding tank besides the toilet. Unfortunately, when
wind blows across the standard roof top vent cap, it creates high
pressure in the pipe and pushes the holding tank gasses to the closest
outlet, the toilet. The average RV living space is less than 250 sq.
ft., and with a 40 gallon holding tank containing decomposing waste, it
takes a minimal amount of air pressure difference to flood the RV
interior with extremely foul smells. In both the black and grey water
tank, strong additives are required to overcome these smells.

SOLUTION - Increase holding tank venting.
The source of the problem can be eliminated with a redesigned breather
system attached to the vent pipe that actually draws the fumes out of
the holding tank on a continuous basis. When there is a breeze, it can
be used to drain the fume build up and create a continuous low air
pressure in the tank making it virtually impossible to have any odours
ever enter the living space. This system keeps a flow of fresh air in
the black water tank creating a much-improved aerobic environment for
bacteria and the breakdown process of solid waste. With no wind,
regardless of the type of vent cap on the rooftop, there will be no air
pressure difference there for no problem. With a properly vented system,
formaldehydes are definitely not necessary, and only small amounts of
organic deodorizers will be required to permanently eliminate holding
tank odours.

PERMANENT SOLUTION - The RV360 - A Vent unit that actually vents!
The RV360 easily replaces the conventional breather pipe vent cap. It is
a simple device using basic physics to allow for a continuous draw of
odours and gasses from RV holding tanks. Instead of wind passing over
the roof increasing the problem, the RV360 uses the wind to permanently
resolve the problem, regardless of the wind strength or direction. The
exhaust port will always point down wind, drawing all odours up the vent
pipe and out of the tank, allowing a gentle intake of fresh air to enter
the tank cavity. A good example of the effects of low air pressure is
how the odours from the holding tanks are sucked up to the front of a
motor home or coach when the cab windows are open during travel. The
RV360 creates more of a pressure difference and will eliminate all
travel related odours in any RV. Using environmentally friendly
deodorizers present no risk during handling and ensure no ecological
concerns at septic stations.
