option.  Or try it with no +'s.

There is nothing wrong with Debian's apache, I do this all the time on
both 1.3 and 2.0.

Do you have mod_mime running?  Are you reloading the configuration after
each change?  Try setting some other option for the same directory and
make sure it's having some effect.
