Attached is my menutree.py, which may give you some inspiration. If
you run it in IDLE or with python -i, the example code will generate
the HTML for a web page with a tree in it.

Go to http://www.deltaxresearch.com/toadesc.htm for a real-life
demonstration. The navigation menu at the left side of the pages was
generated by this module. In my quixote app I am using the same module
to generate menu trees dynamically.
