(I was about to write a two-pager on "how I would fix Quixote to be
unicode-aware", and then realized that I really didn't have a clue ;-)

Neil, what would we have to do to set Quixote right? We have a lot of
hands (though time is always scarce ;-) but I doubt most of us have a
clear appreciation of the problem.
