If it would be at all useful, I would find a way to donate the LWN code to
such an effort.  Freeing the code has been on my list for a long time; I've
just been too busy keeping LWN alive (and updating LDD on the side) to deal
with cleaning things up, documentation, mailing lists, web pages, FTP
sites, a security audit, etc.  If somebody wanted to take the code and run
with it, though, I could try to dig up a bit of time from somewhere...
