In my case, I need to ability to robotically access information at sites not under my control, handling certificates, cookies, hidden form variables and javascript-computed intermediate values. Basically a full browser but with a python script reading the screen and hitting the keys, but from inside the browser so it has a bit more knowledge of what's in the HTML source re clickable fields, maps, etc. It's for financial agent programs interacting with financial institutions. -Jeff
