Not sure how off topic the question is--hope not too much.

I am considering to set a cookie in an apache module at authentication
stage before mod-scgi.  Is this possible?  I looked at http_request and it
seems that the response object is initialized as empty.  So am I right to
think that if the module adds a Set-Cookie header to the response, Quixote
will strip that?  If so, is there another way of setting a cookie based on
a decision at the authentication stage?
