Hello,

You might try Httperf.
http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/David_Mosberger/httperf.html

I found it when ab2 on my machine didn't work.

It seems to push machines a little differently than ab so it might give
you different results.

On my dual Opteron server running Gentoo Linux AMD64 if I remember
correctly after installing Twisted and benchmarking its main page
http://localhost/
and only getting around 25rps with Apache2.x getting 4-5,000 I didn't
explore any further with Twisted.

Twisted may perform better than that, I don't know. Httperf may have
been stressing or finding problems with Twisted. Nevertheless, I didn't
explore.

Anyway. Try Httperf. It may prove interesting.
