Were there any obvious changes between, say, Netscape, and >Konquerer? The first observed failure was with Konqueror 3.2.1 in KDE 3.2.1, with both the browser and the app (Quixote + medusa) running in SuSE 9.1. Then I tried uploading from Konqueror to the same app running on a Windows XP machine. Same results. Just now, I tried uploading from MS IE 6 on the Windows XP machine to the app running on that same (XP) machine. Identical results - both the failure and the contents of the dump file. Clearly, this is not a Konqueror-related problem, as I had originally thought, and it is not OS-related, since the same thing is happening with the server and browser running in various combinations of Windows XP and Linux. This upload has always worked before (although I never tried it with Konqueror), but recently I upgraded the app from Quixote 0.7 to 1.0b2, and I don't think I have tested the upload since making that switch. Comparing upload.py in both Quixote versions, all I see is a modification of Upload._open() which doesn't seem relevant. I am stumped. I guess the obvious thing will be to revert to Quixote 0.7 and see if (or hope that) the problem goes away. I will try it tomorrow. Thanks - Jim Dukarm DELTA-X RESEARCH Victoria BC Canada
