Umm, what he said.  I don't think Quixote should have anything to do
with XML-RPC until we have a better understanding of the problem and a
good solution.  Our pattern has been to develop stuff for the virtual
fab, and then migrate it into Quixote when it feels right.  This worked
well (I think) for the widgets and forms, and hopefully authentication
will work out similarly.  There's no rush to add features to Quixote.
