   In this aspect OODBs are not differ from any other datbases, e.g.
SQL.
   How often does one need a backup? It depends on the intensity of
updates. I have a MySQL-backed website that is updated few times a day.
I do mysqldump every day and store the backup on the local filesystem.
Once a week I copy the backup to another computer. Once in a month I
store the backup at the eternal media (CD-RW).
   I have a Zope-based site, which is updated every few days. I do
backup once a week, and once a month copy the backup to a different
computer.
