I agree it's not the best solution for this problem, but not because
TailEater can't be used outside of plain CGI.  It can't be used as a
static entry in _q_exports, but works just fine when invoked from
_q_lookup.  But in this case I would lean towards the "use objects"
answer that at least one other person has already suggested.
