Will this make Quixote py2exe-packable? Are the magic numbers into them changing
or it is just a matter of extensions?

I was waiting for a Unicode version of Quixote. Also the unbuffered response
looks to me something important (less than Unicode, but useful in some case).
Those are important new functionalities and it doesn't look to me they need all
the refactoring that Q2 is involved into (i may be wrong, of course!).

Would you think about a Quixote 1 trunk including officially those
functionalities?
