We've been using Apache2/SCGI for several months, on a production site.
It's not heavily trafficked but it does get several hundred hits a day.
No problems so far...

Prashanth, I don't see a "problem" per se with your setup; everything is
working, you're just worried about the lack of log messages, right? ;)
It's obviously using SCGI 'cause it's working... check the Apache logs
for the per-request info.
