newbie question; cnri license and the gpl

Hi,

I'm looking for a simple, low-fat python-based web app framework, and
Quixote looks like it might be a good choice. However, I'm a bit stuck
on the license - whether or not it's gpl compatible.

I know that python's license is based on the cnri license, and that it
is deemed to be gpl compatible. I did an eye-ball diff over the two -
the python 2.3 license and the cnri license, and as far as I could tell,
the only differences were that where the cnri license says "cnri", the
python license says "psf".

Am I right to assume that the cnri lic. and therefore quixote are gpl
compatible?

Thanks in advance
regards,
