Hi,

it seems I have to blame myself for misconfiguration of the filesystem
permissions :-(

ab now says 460 ms (single thread) in CGI mode. That's OK for development.
However, there still is a discrepancy between 2 requests/s in my Duron 700
configuration and Mike's 12 requests/s ...

Anyway, as fcgi/scgi/mod_python promise pretty good performance I will dig into
quixote deeper. As I said before: I really like the quixote concept. Excellent
work.
