I just uploaded some widget examples to http://www.sistema.it/widgets.html

Note that this has nothing to do with DOM or with separation of design and code
[main topic of this thread]. It's approach is very similar to that of quixote's
widgets just more complex and it doesn't use PTL (that would have been nice
to).

In the current form, this is probably not directly reusable but if it triggers
a discussion, I'd be very happy.
