You could purchase from SouthBay Technology, a Model 150 lapping and
polishing fixture, a glass plate and appropriate consumables and do it
yourself. Do say 9 micron aluminum oxide abrasive first and then clean
and remount for 3, 1, and 0.3 progressively. You should be able to get a
specular surface.
