Hi, I read that chrome is used to create a high resistivity on a thin film.
And I heard that sometimes chromium diboride is used instead of pure chrome.
  Does anybody know what is an advantage/disadvantage of using chromium
diboride instead of pure chrome?  I aslo heard that sometimes a silicon
carbide is sputtered with the chrome.  What effect would SiC bring to the
chromium layer if sputtered together?
