John Milliken, Project Manager for Fluor Daniel architectural and
engineering firm. I have been researching information on MEMS devices
suitable for toxic gas or biological agent detection. Field is developing
and there is "up and coming" interest in using "smart dust" for that type
of detection.

Hello All,

I am just about to start a PhD program at the Electrical Engineering
department at U of Manitoba, Canada. I will be working with MEMS applied to
environmental analysis. But as of right now I am still trying to fine-tune
my choice of research.

Does anyone know of any possibly interesting literature or internet
resources where I could find some good ideas for a potential PhD thesis?
The field of environmental applications of MEMS technology is definitely
broad! :o)

Thank you all!

    - Isabelle
