March SMAWG Mtg.

The next LA SMAWG meeting well be 4 Mar. at 7:30pm on the 8th floor at ISI,
4676 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, Ca. Dr. Ken Bell of Shipley Company, Inc.
will discuss resist chemistry and formulation design philosophy, thick resist
performance and process effects on performance, and thick-resist problem areas.

Micromachining Course at Simon Fraser University

The School of Engineering Sciences, in conjunction with the Institute of
Micromachine and Microfabrication Research, Simon Fraser University, and
Alberta Microelectronic Centre, Edmonton, Alberta will be presenting a 3-day
short-course on the design and in-house fabrication of microstructural
devices.The dates for instruction have been tentatively set for 24-26 Apr. 96.
The course will be held on the campus of Simon Fraser University, Burnaby,
