Dear all,

I am trying to simulate "Residual Stress" in a thin film cantilever in
ANSYS/IDEAS. I think there
is a way of doing that by applying thermal load on the cantilever and using the
appropriate
thermal expansion coefficient. In case you have any idea please let me know the
procedure,the
Boundary Conditions and the element type to be used.
