I've heard lots of good stuff about QP from other related lists.  Planning
to give it a try.

Is there any way to run it under windows XP strictly for development (i.e.
don't care about threads/speed etc)?

I can always use a Unix under VMware, but find that developing there is
awkward, just because I keep encountering something not setup right under
VMware.
