There are a gazzilion implicit questions buried in this request. For bonding why
not use simple plasma bonding, no adhesive, complete life time bonding. Bill

You can use some UV curing epoxy to fix the chip to the fiber once you have
contacted the two with the xyz translation stage.

Instead of bringing the chip to the fiber, fix the fiber in a standard fiber
mount and move with a xyz translation stage to contact the chip, just like you
would for optical coupling.
