If I wanted to process the output of Quixote with xslt,
is there an easy way to do that? If not, perhaps some hook
could/should be added to Quixote for that purpose? Since
the markup is heavily intertwined with the code, it would
perhaps be nice to separate layout etc. from it?

I'm not sure how difficult this would be, but as far as I
can see, it's just a matter of (optionally) running the
Quixote output through one or more user-defined filters...
